About OreBound

OreBound is an independent fan resource dedicated to Gothic 1 Remake — the Alkimia Interactive remake of the dark-fantasy RPG that defined a genre. We exist to answer the questions the game deliberately refuses to: which camp to join, how to spend Learning Points you can never get back, and how to stop dying in the first few hours.

What we do

Every guide on this site is written by hand by people who actually play the game. We don't auto-generate walkthroughs or scrape wikis. We focus on clarity and decision-making — the choices that matter for a no-respec run — rather than dumping raw data.

Our editorial standards

• Accuracy first. We test claims in-game and update guides as Alkimia Interactive ships patches.
• Spoiler-aware. Story content is flagged and kept light unless a guide is explicitly a walkthrough.
• No pay-to-win nonsense. We don't sell accounts, boosts, or cheats, and we don't link to them.
• Reader-first. Guides are structured for fast answers, with deeper detail below.
